November 1st & 8th, 2025: Business Financing Series – Get Your Business Funded – Learn what lenders and investors are really looking for. This hands-on series will help you assess your business’s financial health, build a strong financing package, and confidently apply for loans, grants, or investments. Participants may qualify for funding opportunities through our partner institutions after completing the series.
November 1st, 2025: Podcasting 101: Launch Your Voice, Grow Your Influence – Turn your ideas into a podcast that builds your brand and connects with your audience. Learn how to plan content, record and edit episodes, and share your message with confidence. No experience or fancy equipment required!
November 8th, 2025: Patents & Trademarks: Protect Your Business & Ideas – Your ideas are valuable—make sure they stay yours. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of patents and trademarks, how to conduct a search, and the first steps toward legally protecting your brand or invention.

October 18th – November 1st, 2025: Register Your Business in NYS (Hands-On) – Let’s make your business official. In this three-part, hands-on workshop, you’ll walk step by step through the registration process. From choosing the right legal structure to setting up your taxes to filing with New York State and the IRS, we’ll cover it all. And here’s the best part: by the time you leave, your business will be officially registered.
October 4th – November 8th, 2025: Bookkeeping 101 for Small Businesses (with QuickBooks) – In this hands-on course, you’ll learn how to use QuickBooks Online. We’ll walk you through everything from connecting your bank accounts to sending invoices with confidence. By the end, you’ll have a system in place to track expenses, manage payables, and keep your books in order. Perfect for small business owners who want to grow their business and spend less time worrying about their business finances.
October 11th – November 15th, 2025: Launch Your Online Business (Hands-On) – In this hands-on course, you will launch your business online and learn how to start attracting customers. We’ll guide you in real time through building a website that works, setting up your social media presence, running ads that reach the right people, and making your first online sales. Designed for freelancers, service providers, and small business owners who are ready to launch (or relaunch) and sell.
