June 26th, 2025 – Understanding Funding: What’s the Best Way to Fund Your Business? – Looking for money to grow your business, but not sure where to start—or what’s right for you? In this session, we’ll walk you through the most common types of business funding in plain language. From small business loans to investors, grants, and crowdfunding, you’ll learn the pros and cons of each option and how to figure out what fits your needs.

This 5-week, in-person course is built for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to show up online, get found by customers, and start making sales—without wasting time or money. Individuals are welcome to join the series at any time!
June 21st, 2025 – Copyrights, Patents & Trademarks: Protect Your Ideas, Business & Brand – Learn how to copyright, patent, and trademark your intellectual works, including your brand, logo, and creative writings, so that someone else cannot lay claim to your ideas!
June 21st, 2025 – Networking & Securing Procurement Opportunities – MWBE (Minority and/or Women Owned Enterprise) certified? What’s next? Learn the tools used to locate procurement opportunities and network for procurement.

Free Technology Classes for Seniors
Are you interested in learning how to use a computer, send emails, stay safe online, or connect with friends and family through video chat? Join us for a friendly and easy-to-follow series of free workshops designed just for seniors.
June 18, 2025 – Spot the Scam: Staying Safe Online – In this important class, we’ll talk about how to recognize and avoid scams that come through email, text messages, phone calls, or online ads. You’ll learn how to spot red flags, protect your personal information, and what to do if you think you’ve encountered a scam.
June 25, 2025 – Keep Your Info Safe: Online Security Tips – This session is all about staying safe online. We’ll explain what computer viruses are and how antivirus software works. You’ll learn how to create and remember strong passwords, set up two-factor authentication for extra protection, use online payment apps securely, and adjust your browser settings to protect your privacy. We’ll also introduce the concept of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
July 2, 2025 – Stay Connected Online – Learn how to connect with friends, family, and even new communities through video chat and messaging platforms. We’ll walk you through how to use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Google Meet, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp so you can stay in touch, no matter where your loved ones are.
