The American Heart Association’s (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for health care professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills for adults, children and infants, using both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills, in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. Emphasis will also be placed on High-quality CPR and team dynamics. Upon completion, students will receive a BLS Course Completion Card, valid for two years. Prior to class, students are responsible for purchasing their own manual, the Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Manual, AHA Product Number: 15-1010 or ISBN#: 978-1-61669-407-4.
