American Heart Association – Basic Life Support

The American Heart Association’s (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills for adult, child and infant, using both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills, in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. Emphasis will also be placed on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. Upon completion, students will receive a BLS Course Completion Card, which is valid for two years. Students must purchase their own manual, Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Manual, AHA Product Number: 15-1010 or ISBN#: 978-1-61669-407-4 prior to class. (1 meeting/4.5 hours)
