Description
In order for an individual to earn their initial teaching certificate from the New York State Education Department (NYSED), they must pass the New York State Teaching Certification Exam (NYSTCE) in their area of interest. This course offers students a comprehensive review of the content contained in the mathematics section of the NYS Multi Subject: Teachers of Early Childhood Exam (Birth-Grade 2). Topics include: numbers and operations; ratios and proportional relationships; algebra; measurement and geometry; data, statistics and probability. (12 meetings/24 hours)
