Description
Drawing Techniques – Part 2: Advanced Media and Creative Exploration
In this follow-up to Drawing Techniques – Part 1, students will deepen their observational skills while exploring color and expressive mark-making. Through projects in ink and soft pastels, we’ll focus on developing atmosphere, texture, and emotional tone. We will continue to explore key subjects such as still life, interior, landscape, and portrait, while expanding toward more personal and imaginative approaches. This course encourages students to experiment with color relationships, composition, and material handling as they begin shaping their own artistic voice. It is intended for intermediate level students. Students are responsible for buying all course supplies for the first day of class. A supply list will be sent to the students’ college email address before the start of the course. (6 meetings, 12 hours)
